Kellie Martin, an American film and television actress best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston in the period drama series 'Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama 'ER'. Kellie Martin is most well-known for her role as the main character on The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin, the daughter of a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her professional career acting at the age of seven. Her aunt, who was the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children assisted Martin get a part in the 1981's series "Father Murphy". Following her graduation from Yale University she began to become serious about acting with roles that she was able to land on the small and large screen. In addition to being an actress Martin is also a talented photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Her sister, who died of Lupus at age 19, led her to becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
