Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha declared that he had been transgender for a while. Those were difficult years, but Sasha was confident that with the help from his family and friends she could take on anything. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters. They have been performing at local venues along with open mics and elsewhere. The Voice coach did not discuss Sasha's story but Jim and Sasha spoke about their life in a short intro clip. Jim and Sasha discussed their music choices and how Sasha first picked up a guitar when he was at the age of six. It was the fact that his father was a music instructor was a huge help for him to master the art. Sasha had issues with identity as a boy, even being a woman. In an Instagram posting, she spoke about his struggles. Jim, meanwhile, was stricken with emotion when he explained his inability to stay present through these difficult times. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, was born as a girl. Sasha Allen is 19 in 2021. When Sasha was a freshman at the high school system, he announced to be transgender, and then began the transition to male. Sasha said in his Instagram, "I am the third transgender person to be featured on the show, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to represent transgender individuals on such a large platform."
